We will be hosting our OMOZ 2018 Conference Dinner on Wednesday 15 August 2018. The night will be hosted on the front lawns of the Museum (MAGNT), against the backdrop of the sun setting on the Arafura Sea. It will be a night not to be missed.
Date: Wednesday 15 August 2018.
Time: 5.00pm - 10.00pm
Location: MAGNT 19 Conacher St, Darwin City NT 0820
MAGNT will keep the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Awards (NATSIAA) awards open, for a private viewing, for our delegates at the beginning of the night. The NATSIAA is Australia’s longest running and most prestigious Indigenous art award.
Crocs and Canapes! We're delighted to announce that, while you sip on champagne and watch the beautiful sunset, you will also have the opportunity to see and hold some of our iconic local Territory residents. The friendly folk at Crocodylus Park are providing some of their baby crocs, snakes and turtles (as well as some trained handlers).
Enjoy dancing the night away to local Indigenous duo David Spry and Darryl Barba. David comes from a long line of storytellers and uses his inherited gift in sharing contemporary music with audiences. Darryl is a member of the local Darwin band, 'Roymackonkey', known for their upbeat vibe! They are combining their talent for a special performance just for OMOZ 2018!
